Pharmaceutical and industrial production of active ingredients
Bespoke systems for complex process exhaust air from pharmaceutical production
During the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, exhaust air streams containing chlorinated hydrocarbons (CHCs), BTEX aromatics and other volatile organic compounds are generated during synthesis, solvent recovery and coating processes (e.g. tablet coating). Operators of such plants are obliged to comply with the requirements of the TA Luft.
Evoran provides process-neutral advice and selects from a tiered portfolio — adsorption on activated carbon or zeolite, UV photo-oxidation and, where concentration or composition so require, catalytic oxidation (KatOx) in thermal-catalytic reactors. This enables you to comply with limit values reliably and sustainably.
Working with evoran means for you:
- Process-reliable in accordance with TA Luft. Reliable compliance with statutory limit values in pharmaceutical production.
- Designed to accommodate a range of processes. Adsorption, UV photo-oxidation or catalytic oxidation — tailored to your pollutant profile.
- Cost-effective operation. Concentration and autothermal operation reduce capital and running costs.
- Custom-designed. Specialised systems, tailored precisely to your process and cleanroom requirements.
